Deborah: Just over here trying to live a simpler life in a fast-paced world. | As a college English professor, I was deeply involved in campus sustainability initiatives, including co-chairing the sustainability committee, organizing campus events, and chaperoning students to the 2009 PowerShift conference in Washington, D.C. My interests in sustainability have continued to deepen and expand in more directions, particularly slow fashion, and in 2016 I launched Zentuitive LifeWear, a socially conscious boutique. In addition to managing the Zen2LifeStyle blog and my sustainable fashion retail/resale business, I am working on earning a Sustainable Design Entrepreneurs certificate from the Fashion Institute of Technology and serve as an ambassador for Re/Make, a nonprofit sustainable fashion organization.
