So much for outdoor activity today. It's been raining nonstop since I got up. In spite of that, with Crocs on and umbrella in hand, I did make it to the farmers market, first time in weeks. I hadn't been to the market since week two of the spring market back in late April/early May, so it was fun to see how much more is available now. Each week brings a new surprise. Some of my farmers market favorites are free-range eggs, Amish noodles, granola, and fresh flowers (got my glads!). I also especially love the fresh fruit from Michigan; today I picked up raspberries, blueberries, and peaches. And even in the pouring rain, you can be certain a few someones you know will also be at the market. Running into people is half the fun. Suffice it to say, I was pretty soaked by the time I got back home.
